    Our client, a leading Japanese multinational in industrial instrumentation, is seeking a Sales Manager (Instrumentation) to drive growth in its environmental monitoring, process gas analyzer, and other instrumentation business across Singapore and the region.

    The role will focus on gas analyzer solutions for emissions monitoring, process optimization, and regulatory compliance, serving industries such as semiconductor, power generation, petrochemical, utilities, and environmental sectors.

    70% Hunting 30% Farming
    【Responsibilities】
    Sales & Business Development
    - Drive sales growth for gas analyzers and emission monitoring systems (CEMS / process gas analyzers) in Singapore and ASEAN
    - Develop and manage relationships with end-users, EPC contractors, consultants, and system integrators
    - Identify and develop new project opportunities in emissions monitoring, combustion efficiency, and industrial process gas analysis
    - Lead technical discussions with customers on system configuration, sampling systems, and application requirements
    - Prepare technical proposals, quotations, and tender submissions aligned with customer and regulatory requirements

    HQ Reporting & Business Control
    - Report regularly to Japan HQ on sales performance, pipeline, and forecasting accuracy
    - Prepare monthly and rolling 3-month sales forecasts for HQ alignment
    - Monitor project pipeline and highlight risks in achieving forecasted targets
    - If sales targets or 3-month forecast cannot be achieved, propose recovery plans and corrective actions to mitigate impact

    Supply Chain / Components & Manufacturing Coordination
    - Work closely with HQ manufacturing teams to ensure timely availability of critical gas analyzer components
    - Understand that component supply directly impacts production and delivery timelines
    - Coordinate with internal stakeholders to manage lead times, delivery schedules, and customer expectations
    - Support resolution of supply constraints affecting project execution

    Order Fulfilment & Invoicing Process
    - Ensure proper coordination between sales, logistics, and finance teams for order fulfilment and delivery completion
    - Oversee documentation for shipment completion, delivery confirmation, and invoicing processes aligned with corporate Japanese factory procedures
    - Ensure invoices are issued accurately upon successful delivery and completion of customer requirements
    - Maintain high standards of compliance in documentation and reporting to HQ

    【Requirements & Preferences】

    (Must)
    - Diploma or Degree in Engineering (Instrumentation, Mechanical, Electrical, or related discipline).
    - Minimum 8 years of experience in regional technical sales and business development within industrial instrumentation.
    - At least 2 years as Sales Manager and has experience in handling 2-3 subordinates
    - At least 4 years of proven hands-on experience and a strong network in gas analyzers for Emissions monitoring (CEMS) or other applications
    - Demonstrated success in business development, including project acquisition and account management.
    - Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage the full sales cycle (prospecting to closing), forecasting of sales, and budget planning
    - Willing to travel regionally when required (30-50%)

    (Advantageous)
    - Understanding of Japanese corporate reporting structure and manufacturing coordination processes
