Our client is a Japanese company known for its expertise in manufacturing a wide range of products, including engines, agricultural machinery, construction equipment, energy systems, and marine equipment.
As a pivotal member of the regional leadership support team, you will drive the HR and General Affairs (GA) functions for our Singapore office while providing strategic assistance to the General Manager, HR, for our Vietnam liaison office and branches. This role is a blend of Strategic HR Business Partnering and Operational Excellence, ensuring that our people strategies and physical infrastructure align with our business growth.
【Responsibilities】
1. Strategic HR Business Partnering
- Organizational Alignment: Act as a strategic partner to business leaders, aligning people strategies with organizational goals to drive effectiveness.
- Talent Management: Lead talent reviews, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives to ensure a robust talent pipeline.
- Leadership Coaching: Coach and mentor managers on leadership effectiveness, people management, and team dynamics.
- Change Management: Guide leaders through organizational restructuring, role redesign, and change initiatives.
2. HR Operations & Employee Relations
- Performance Excellence: Manage the full performance cycle, including goal setting, appraisal moderation, and calibration.
- Employee Relations: Oversee complex employee relations matters, including grievances, investigations, and disciplinary actions, ensuring TAFEP compliance and fair practices.
- Data Insights: Leverage HR analytics to provide actionable insights for business decision-making.
- Regional Support: Assist the GM in overseeing HR compliance and policy implementation for Vietnam branches.
3. General Affairs & Office Management
- Operational Oversight: Manage the full spectrum of GA operations, ensuring the Singapore office and warehouse are maintained to high standards of serviceability and neatness.
- Procurement & Vendor Management: Lead the procurement of office/warehouse equipment and manage the lifecycle of service contracts (leasing, maintenance, and renewals).
- Corporate Governance: Liaise with the Company Secretary and legal consultants on corporate filings and compliance matters.
- Legal Review: Oversee the review and renewal of legal agreements with distributors, consultants, and service providers.
- Branding: Manage corporate branding initiatives to ensure brand consistency across office touchpoints.

【Requirements & Preferences】
(Must)
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, or similar
- 6 to 9 years of progressive HR experience within the manufacturing/machinery industry, with at least 3 years in an HRBP or Management capacity.
- Regional exposure (especially Vietnam) is required for the role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Mandarin to liaise with English and Mandarin-speaking stakeholders
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Advanced Excel is required for the role.
- Having a high sense of integrity, transparency, and accountability in all work tasks and interactions with others. Must be able to work with and handle highly confidential data
- Detailed, well-organized, and able to multitask and manage multiple projects at the same time, prioritizing required actions accordingly to meet required deadlines.
- Exceptional influencing and facilitation skills; able to build rapport with everyone from blue-collar warehouse staff to senior managements
