  Our client is a Singapore-based law firm established by a Japanese lawyer and is seeking a Lawyer (Japanese Law, Japanese-Speaking) to join their expanding team.
  The firm handles Japanese and international clients, focusing primarily on M&A and corporate law, with occasional cross-border matters.
  
  This position reports to the Managing Director.
  
  【Responsibilities】
  - Provide legal advice on Japanese law and/or Singapore law (if the candidate is qualified to practice Singapore law or passed Foreign Practitioner Examinations) to Japanese and international clients across a range of practice areas.
  - Handle corporate and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, restructurings, and general corporate advisory work.
  - Support and lead transactions involving cross-border elements, particularly between Japan and Singapore.
  - Serve clients based in Japan and Singapore, responding to their legal needs in a timely and practical manner.
  - Collaborate closely with senior lawyers on complex cross-border matters, including due diligence, contract drafting, negotiations, and regulatory analysis.
  - Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of legal documents in both Japanese and English.
  - Assist in client relationship management and business development activities.
  - Stay updated on developments in Japanese law and relevant international legal trends.
