Job Description
Our client is an MNC chemical trading company in Singapore. This is a newly created position to support the company's expanding global sales and marketing activities. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing supplier relationships, developing new business opportunities, and supporting credit control and sales coordination across regional and global markets.Reporting to: Department Head【Responsibilities】- Oversee sales and marketing activities with suppliers and customers across the region (global scope).- Review and analyze customers’ financial status to establish and manage credit lines in line with company policies.- Coordinate with overseas offices to identify and develop potential customers and expand sales of plastic resins (PP).- Maintain regular communication and coordination with suppliers, clients, overseas offices, and Head Office.- Manage pricing activities – obtain and review supplier quotations and communicate pricing to customers/distributors.- Conduct quarterly sales budget reviews with suppliers and distributors.- Prepare and submit monthly sales reports/results and other analyses as required.- Visit and service customers, ensuring high satisfaction and long-term business relationships.- Identify and develop new customer opportunities to expand business share and synergy.- Support sales presentations and product introductions to customers for new material grades.- Manage and coordinate customer support activities, ensuring alignment with principal’s sales objectives.- Foster team collaboration with liaison offices to provide effective regional customer support.- Ensure regulatory compliance of all activities in the assigned area.- Assist the principal in achieving sales targets within the agreed pricing framework.- Manage outstanding invoices and handle customer complaints effectively.- Develop and implement sales strategies within the assigned region.- Support local key account management, including customer planning and relationship building.- Gather and share local market intelligence within the team- Manage end-user relations, coordinating with agents, technical services, marketing, and distribution partners.- Demonstrate a strong team-oriented mindset and collaborative working style.
