You will work closely with the Japan HQ Legal team to proofread and revise legal documents.【Responsibilities】- Proofread and revised drafts of legal documents based on advice from the Japan legal team.- Research, analyse and interpret laws and regulations in legal documents.- Record keeping of electronic and hard copy filing of legal documents.- Prepare legal and management reports.- Respond to all law-related queries from internal stakeholders.- Cooperate with Japan legal team on various projects, legal research and enforcement of company rules.- Ensure adherence to company rules concerning legal documents.

They are currently looking for a Licensing Executive/ Senior Licensing Executive (Japanese Speaking).You will be reporting to the Team Manager.【Responsibilities】- To acquire IP (intellectual property) rights from external companies to collaborate with our trading card games- Source and identify new business opportunities from companies whose IP will fit into our games- Negotiate and execute new/renewable license agreements to comply with contractual requirements for product titles and maximize revenue opportunities- Negotiate royalty and minimum guarantees with companies for their IP- Create and manage licensing business documents, processes and records in both Japanese and English, including, but not limited to, licensing agreements/contracts administration, rights management, product release calendars, tracking of payment and royalties, facilitating of additional copyright licenses as necessary- Assist in the approval process of licensed products and marketing materials

This role is open to candidates from junior to senior level.This role reports directly to the Director. 【 Responsibilities 】- Manage the planning, structuring, coordination, and execution of transactions/deals such as mergers and acquisitions, fundraising through equity and/or debt, joint ventures, and other investments in public and private companies.- Provide legal advice on commercial and corporate (including governance) matters, and contribute to risk and commercial issue analysis.- Research and advice on relevant laws and regulatory requirements.- Draft, review and negotiate all relevant documents for the execution of deals and transactions.- Conduct due diligence where necessary.- Handle corporate secretarial matters and attend to client corporate secretarial requirements.- Assist with the incorporation of companies for local and/or overseas clients.- Assist with the preparation, review, and consolidation of board documents and facilitate the preparation of board meetings.- Manage external lawyers and other professionals.- Any other corporate duties as assigned.
