  • Job Description

    Our client is a well-established Japanese tuition centre in Singapore, providing academic support to Japanese students across various age groups.
    They are currently looking for an English Lecturer (Japanese-speaking) to join their teaching team.

    【Responsibilities】
    - Conduct English lessons for Japanese students across different age groups and proficiency levels.
    - Prepare teaching materials and lesson plans according to students' learning needs.
    - Deliver lessons in English and Japanese, depending on students' levels of understanding.
    - Support students in preparing for Japanese junior high school and high school entrance examinations.
    - Monitor students' academic progress and guide them to improve their English proficiency.
    - Communicate with parents regarding students' performance, learning progress, areas for improvement, and future study plans.
    - Participate in parent-teacher meetings and information sessions when required.
    - Prepare teaching materials and conduct online lessons using digital tools.
    - Handle other teaching-related and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    【Requirements & Preferences】
    (Must )
    - Bachelor's Degree or equivalent, preferably in English Studies or a related field.
    - Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience.
    - Business-level Japanese proficiency (JLPT N2 or equivalent) is mandatory to communicate effectively with Japanese students and parents.
    - Excellent English proficiency, with the ability to teach English at the level required for challenging Japanese junior high school and high school entrance examinations.
    - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and digital communication tools.
    - Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    - Ability to work flexible hours, including evening classes.
