• Job Description

  Our Client is a Japanese mechanical and electrical engineering company. They are looking for a Project Engineer to carry on existing projects and improve efficiency.
  
  You will be working at the Client's project site.
  
  【Responsibilities】
  - Manage and oversee assigned projects and requisition necessary resources (labour, materials, equipment).
  - Plan and coordinate the timely delivery of resources to minimize wastage.
  - Monitor sub-contractor performance and overall project progress against the schedule, implementing corrective actions when necessary.
  - Liaise with customers, consultants, and statutory authorities regarding work progress, plan approvals, and site issues.
  - Coordinate with the Purchasing Department for project-related deliveries.
  - Manage contract administration, including claims, variations, and final accounts.
  - Supervise sub-contractors, conduct quality checks on site, and ensure safety practices are followed.
  - Solve technical or site coordination problems and carry out material inspections.
  - Conduct project planning, prepare shop drawings, and manage material requisitions/site stock.
  - Ensure all site execution complies with approved drawings and instructions from clients or main contractors.
  - Provide on-the-job training to new staff and handle additional assignments as directed by management.
