  • Job Description

    Our Client is a Japanese-listed company and the largest producer of seasonings. They are looking for a proactive and dependable Logistics & Internal Sales Executive to join their team, to manage end to end logistics operations and internal supply deman coordination.

    The ideal candidate is someone who builds strong working relationships with business partners and takes ownership of their work. This is a hands-on role that sits at the intersection of operations and commercial coordination, requiring both accuracy in execution and responsiveness under time-sensitive conditions.

    Reporting to: Head of Department

    【Responsibilities】
    Logistics — Shipment Booking & Freight Management
    - Book and coordinate shipments with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and carriers across sea, air, and land modes
    - Negotiate freight rates and service terms; regularly benchmark against the market to ensure cost competitiveness
    - Track shipments end-to-end and resolve delays, discrepancies, or any issues with a sense of urgency
    - Lead the carrier selection process by evaluating carriers against defined criteria covering cost, transit time, reliability, and compliance; maintain an approved carrier list and review it periodically
    - Ensure full compliance with applicable trade regulations, customs requirements, and Incoterms
    - Coordinate with relevant parties to follow up and resolve complex cargo claims

    Internal Sales Coordination — Affiliate Management
    - Serve as the operational point of contact for internal sales affiliates, managing order intake and fulfilment coordination
    - Monitor sales orders and purchase orders across affiliates; identify demand patterns and flag supply constraints proactively
    - Maintain accurate and up-to-date records; prepare regular reports on order status, shipment progress, and any open issues for internal stakeholders
    - Work closely with affiliates to navigate order processing workflows and ensure PO discrepancies are identified and resolved accurately and on time
    - Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    【Requirements & Preferences】

    (Must)
    - Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
    - 5-8 years of experience in freight, logistics coordination, and trade/sales operations, ideally within FMCG or manufacturing
    - Working knowledge of marine cargo insurance and claims handling.
    - Familiarity with Incoterms 2020.
    - Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems, ideally SAP (HANA) / SAP Business One system
    - Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in both English and Mandarin to liaise with English and Mandarin speaking counterparts
    - Able to travel occasionally for overseas business trips.

    (Advantageous)
    - Experience working in a Japanese company would be a huge plus!
    - Able to start immediately or within short notice
