  • Job Description

    Our client is a global market technology company specializing in creative testing and consumer insights. They are currently looking for a Junior Market Research Analyst to support their growing APAC business.

    【Responsibilities】
    - Support quantitative and qualitative market research projects across the APAC region
    - Understand client business objectives and research requirements through discussions with internal and external stakeholders
    - Assist in designing and executing research methodologies to deliver high-quality insights
    - Design and manage consumer surveys based on research objectives and market knowledge
    - Conduct quantitative analysis using statistical techniques (e.g. segmentation, cluster analysis)
    - Analyse consumer behaviour, attitudes, preferences, and brand sentiment using survey data and social listening tools
    - Utilize Generative AI tools appropriately to summarize qualitative responses and assist with sentiment analysis
    - Coordinate respondent recruitment and monitor data quality to ensure reliable research outcomes
    - Analyse research findings and generate actionable business insights
    - Prepare client reports and presentation materials
    - Support continuous improvement of research methodologies and internal processes

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    【Requirements & Preferences】

    (Must)
    - Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Psychology, Data Analytics, or a related analytical discipline.
    - At least 1 year of experience in market research, marketing research, data analysis, or a related field.
    - Basic knowledge of SQL.
    - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
    - Business-level Japanese proficiency (JLPT N2 or above) is essential to communicate effectively with Japanese-speaking stakeholders and handle business communications in Japanese.
    - Strong interest in market research, consumer behaviour, marketing, and data analysis.
    - Willingness to learn new technologies and research tools.

    (Advantageous)
    - Experience with statistical software such as R or Python.
    - Experience conducting quantitative and/or qualitative research.
    - Experience designing surveys.
    - Knowledge of Generative AI tools.
