  • Job Description

    Our client is a Japanese eyewear retail brand with strong growth across Southeast Asia and an established presence in Singapore.

    They are seeking an Accounting Executive (Wholesale & Retail) to support their Singapore operations across both wholesale and retail entities. This role is primarily responsible for day-to-day accounting activities and coordination with an external accounting service provider.

    You will report directly to the General Manager.

    【 Responsibilities 】
    - Coordinate with external accounting service provider for monthly and annual closing activities
    - Maintain and organize accounting records and supporting documentation
    - Process payments and manage bank transfers in a timely manner
    - Monitor cash flow and support basic cash flow reporting
    - Support accounting functions for both wholesale and retail business entities
    - Liaise with Japan Headquarters on accounting-related matters (in English, with interpreter support if required)

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    【Requirements & Preferences 】

    (Must)
    - Diploma in any discipline
    - Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
    - Proficient in English for work-related communication with internal and external stakeholders
    - Basic accounting knowledge, including Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and journal entries
    - Comfortable working in a dynamic and evolving business environment, including willingness to work occasional overtime when required
    - Able to adapt to Japanese corporate culture and working processes
    - Able to commence work by end of July

    (Advantageous)
    - Experience in the retail industry
    - Prior experience in an accounting firm
    - Experience working in small or growing organizations
    - Exposure to handling multiple business entities
