  • Job Description

    Our client is seeking a Manager / Senior Manager to support Accounting & Tax functions on a contract basis in Singapore. This role requires a hands-on professional who can independently manage accounting operations, tax compliance, and reporting to Japan HQ while supporting overall administrative functions.

    【Responsibilities】

    1. Accounting & Tax (Main Responsibility)
    - Perform weekly accounting entries using MYOB
    - Ensure timely and accurate monthly financial reporting to Japan HQ
    - Prepare supporting documents for quarterly GST reporting and cost allocation
    - Support year-end statutory audit and external audit processes
    - Handle tax compliance matters including Corporate Tax, GST, and Withholding Tax (WHT)
    - Monitor regulatory and accounting changes and ensure compliance
    - Manage loan-related withholding tax matters
    - Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records in line with company policies

    2. HQ Reporting
    - Prepare and submit monthly reports and fee claims to Japan HQ
    - Prepare consolidated reporting packages and annual reporting documentation

    3. Expense & Payment Administration
    - Process and verify expense claims (commuting, travel, entertainment, staff-related expenses)
    - Review supporting documents and ensure compliance with internal policies
    - Handle payment processing and disbursement

    4. Event & Executive Support
    - Arrange internal and external events as required
    - Support CEO administrative tasks including schedule coordination, expense claims, and travel arrangements

    5. General Administration & Office Management
    - Manage vendors and vendor contracts
    - Handle general office administration (courier, office maintenance, facility coordination)
    - Coordinate with IT and service providers for office environment management
    Maintain administrative and accounting-related documentation

    6. Reception & Front Office Support (as needed)
    - Handle incoming calls and guest reception
    - Provide front desk and guest escort support
    - Arrange hotel bookings and transportation for expatriates

    - Other ad hoc Duties assigned by the Deputy GM

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    【Requirements & Preferences】
    (Must)
    - Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in r in Accounting or Finance.
    - Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in accounting and tax
    - Experience in monthly and annual closing, GST, and audit handling
    - Ability to work independently and manage tasks in a hands-on manner
    - Able to join around mid of June or earlier

    (Advantageous)
    - Experience using accounting systems such as MYOB
    - Experience in reporting to the Japan headquarters or Japan office
