    Our client, a reputable Japanese manufacturing company, is looking for a Software Control Engineer to support plant automation initiatives. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining control systems to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.

    You will report directly to the Manager and work closely with cross-functional engineering teams.

    【Responsibilities】
    - Primarily develop, test, implement, and maintain software for industrial automation.
    - The role will involve control system design, build, installation, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
    - Contribute to the testing and commissioning of equipment, ensuring reliability and functionality.
    - Collaborating with the cross-functional engineering team and maintaining compliance with industry standards.
    - Perform any other duties assigned by management.

Qualifications

    【Requirements & Preferences】

    (Must)
    - Diploma or Degree in Mechatronics/Electrical/Electronics/Computer – Engineering or equivalent.
    - Knowledge in Control Systems Design, Concepts and Safety Compliance Documentation
    - Proficiency in PC-based Motion Control and User Interface programming using C# or similar languages.
    - Knowledge in PLC programming, I/O addressing and Industry Standard Communication
    - Strong interpersonal skills and able to work both individually and in a team.
    ‐ At least 2 years’ experience in developing PC-based equipment control applications using C#, C/C++ or similar languages.
    - At least 2 years of experience in machine programming from scratch.
    - Able to interpret electrical diagrams and control panel designs.
    - Fluent in English to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
    - Willing to work extended hours in a cleanroom environment when required.
    - Willing to travel overseas for project support on short notice when necessary (occasional).
    - Experience in SCADA programming
    - Experience in hands-on programming from scratch


    (Advantageous)
    - Experience with SCADA development is a plus, preferably Ignition SCADA
