• Job Description

  Our client is launching a new business and establishing a new manufacturing facility in Singapore. They are seeking a Metrology Engineer (Specialist) to support the manufacturing and contribute to the development of robust metrology capabilities.
  
  Reports to: R&D Manager
  
  【 Responsibilities 】
  1) Metrology Concepts & Tools
  - Apply working knowledge of metrology tools such as CD-SEM, AFM, XPS, ellipsometers, and wafer probing systems.
  - Utilize metrology concepts including critical dimension (CD) measurement, thin-film thickness characterization, and defect detection.
  
  2) Equipment & Tooling Support
  - Participate in defining metrology equipment specifications and supporting tool qualification and validation activities.
  - Work closely with equipment suppliers to monitor tool performance, reliability, and calibration status.
  
  3) Data Analysis & Statistics
  - Perform data analysis using statistical process control (SPC), Design of Experiments (DoE), and Gage R&R methodologies.
  - Use statistical software (e.g. JMP) to analyze complex datasets, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
  
  4) Programming & Automation
  - Apply scripting or programming skills (e.g. Python, MATLAB, JSL, C#) for data analysis, recipe development, and metrology tool automation.
  - Hands-on Laboratory / Cleanroom Work
  - Conduct hands-on metrology measurements in laboratory and cleanroom environments, following established procedures and safety requirements.
  
  5) Documentation & Compliance
  - Create and maintain technical documentation including SOPs, process specifications, metrology recipes, and FMEAs.
  - Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and chemical handling standards.
  
  6) Communication & Collaboration
  - Communicate technical findings clearly through reports and presentations.
  - Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including R&D, process engineering, and manufacturing.
  
  7) Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager to support team and organizational objectives.
