Job Description
Our client is a Japanese food manufacturing company. The main role of this position is to drive sales growth and expand market presence by managing existing accounts and developing new business opportunities.
You will be reporting to the Finance and Sales Manager.
【 Responsibilities 】
1) Sales & Business Development
- Manage current customer accounts to ensure exceptional service and relationship building.
- Identify and pursue new business possibilities in the retail, restaurant, and B2B sectors.
- Market Kikkoman products to wholesalers, supermarkets, restaurants, central kitchens, and food manufacturers.
- Make regular store or customer visits to check product displays, pricing, and competitor activity.
- Help execute sales campaigns and trade promotions to meet volume and revenue targets.
2) Sales Operations & Coordination
- Create sales quotes, product presentations, and proposals as needed.
- Track and handle client orders, deliveries, and payments in collaboration with internal teams.
- Use CRM or Excel to keep accurate records of sales operations, predictions, and customer interactions.
- Assist with pricing adjustments, inventory planning, and monthly sales reports.
3) Market Feedback & Collaboration
- Gather consumer and market input and share it with the team to help enhance the product and strategy.
- Collaborate with the marketing, logistics, and finance teams to guarantee effective sales execution.
- Communicate with headquarters in Japan and regional partners as needed about product inquiries, updates, or coordination.

【 Requirement & Preferences 】
(Must)
- At least 3 years of experience in sales.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint).
- Fluent in English in order to communicate with counterparts.
- Must be interested in cooking and Japanese foods.
- Possess a valid Singapore driver’s license.
(Advantageous)
- Possess sales experience in FMCG, food trading, or the foodservice industry.
- Possess distributor sales experience.
- Possess CRM experience is a plus.
- Good knowledge of the Singapore food market, including supermarkets or food manufacturers.English Level
