    Our Client is a leading global player in the storage industry, committed to driving the energy transition through transformational partnerships in chemicals, gas, and new energies. They are looking for a Senior Electrical, Instrumentation & Control (EI&C) Engineer to join the team and help shape the future of sustainable energy infrastructure!

    Reporting to: Senior Engineering Manager

    【Responsibilities】
    - Prepare technical specifications and requirements for CAPEX projects, evaluate contractor proposals, and ensure seamless design integration during execution, testing, and commissioning phases.
    - Analyze and troubleshoot existing systems and processes, identifying and implementing improvements to optimize performance.
    - Review Functional Design Specifications and oversee modifications to Integrated Control and Safety Systems.
    - Manage selection, engineering, and commissioning of site measuring equipment, including Tank Gauging and Custody Transfer Systems.
    - Participate in Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and Hazard & Operability Studies (HAZOP).
    - Ensure adherence to the company's global Technical Standards (ADTS) and collaborate with the global engineering team (CED).
    - Contribute to the implementation of the Automation Strategy within the Asia Pacific cluster.

Qualifications

    【Requirements & Preferences】

    (Must)
    - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
    - At least 10 years of hands-on engineering and construction experience in refineries, large marine terminals, or process plants.
    - Strong ability to read and verify Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs) and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
    - In-depth knowledge of IEC, IEEE, ATEX, and NFPA standards, as well as local regulations and national codes relevant to the Oil & Gas industry.
    - Proven experience with Instrumented Safety Systems per IEC 61508/61511, including SIL determination, SIF, PFD/PFH calculations, and LOPA.
    - Skilled in creating and maintaining load balances and Single Line Diagrams (SLD).
    - Knowledge of Motor Control Centers (MCC), drives, and electric heat tracing systems.
    - Proficient in designing medium and low voltage systems, including cable sizing, short-circuit, and load calculations.
    - Demonstrated expertise in designing for explosive atmospheres.
    - Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel and Word.
    - Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
    - A valid Class 3 manual driving license is required for the role

    (Advantageous)
    - Certification in Low Voltage (LV)/Medium Voltage (MV) power systems and familiarity with switchgears and transformers is an advantage
    - Class 4 license is a plus
    - Experience working in Jurong Island will be a plus
