Job Description
Our client is a wholly-owned subsidiary of one of Southeast Asia’s largest banks. They are seeking an Assistant Relationship Manager to provide support to Relationship Managers serving Japanese private banking clients. This role offers an opportunity to gain exposure to private banking and develop a career in client advisory.
【 Responsibilities 】
- Provide administrative and client service support to Relationship Managers.
- Respond to client enquiries and instructions, and assist in resolving requests or issues.
- Maintain client data and reports, including contact lists, account numbers, facilities details, and credit review/renewal status.
- Perform administrative duties such as scheduling appointments, preparing correspondences, arranging travel, organizing meetings and receptions, and producing presentation materials.

【 Requirements & Preferences 】
(Must)
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in any field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in client servicing, operations, or sales support within financial institutions.
- Fluent in English and Japanese (JLPT N1), with strong listening, writing, and speaking skills.
- Experience in handling Japanese clients.
- Motivated and capable individuals with the potential to develop into client advisory roles; extensive experience is not required.
- Basic knowledge of financial products and services.
- Experience working in a Japanese financial institution.
(Advantageous)
- CACS qualification (must obtain after joining if not already held).
- Prior experience as an assistant.
- Experience in private banking.English Level
