    Our client is a Japanese manufacturing company, focusing on automated and machinery products. They are looking for a Service Engineer for their Logistics & Automation department. The Service Engineer will be primarily responsible for installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of warehouse automation equipment.

    【 What you will be doing 】
    - Install, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot automated warehouse systems
    - Communicate and resolve equipment problems while working with other team members
    - Prepare service and maintenance reports upon task completion
    - Liaise with customers to arrange jobs and to update customers on work progress
    - Attend to customer enquiries, prepare quotations, and arrange deliveries of replacement parts
    - Provide 24-hour on-call standby service for any recovery requests from customers

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    【 What they are looking for 】
    (Must)
    - Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronic discipline
    - Fluent in English & Mandarin Listening/Writing/Speaking is essential to liaise with Mandarin-speaking counterparts
    - Minimum 1 - 2 years of relevant experience in Logistic Automation industry or similar
    - Inexperience candidates who are interested in the role and fit the criteria might also be considered
    - Be physically and mentally fit. Candidates with any chronic illnesses that affect mobility (e.g. back pain, knee injuries etc.) will be unsuitable for this role
    - Candidates with severe acrophobia and claustrophobia will also be unsuitable for this role
    - Ability to diagnose technical problems arising out of mechanical equipment by displaying good knowledge of electrical and mechanical engineering
    - Be willing to work in field conditions, including construction sites, for installations and testing
    - Be willing to work overtime, weekends, and be overseas for periods of up to several months
    - Provide 24-hour on-call standby service for any recovery requests from customers (after 1 year of employment)

    (Preferable)
    - A driving license is an added advantage
