Our client, a Japanese mechanical and electrical engineering company, specializes in constructing indoor wiring and power transmission lines, as well as installing air conditioning, water supply, and sewage systems in buildings and plants. We are looking for a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in Electrical systems to support our project estimation and bidding processes. In this role, you will play a key part in the tender lifecycle, from initial quantity take-offs and risk assessment to the final preparation of competitive technical and commercial proposals. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proficient in interpreting technical drawings, and capable of managing documentation to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Report to: Tender Manager【Responsibilities】- Assist the Tender/Contract Manager in the preparation and submission of tenders.- Analyze the scope of work and commercial requirements to identify and assess project risks.- Develop and maintain tender files to ensure systematic tracking and monitoring of all bidding activities.- Prepare and follow up on Requests for Quotations (RFQ) with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure timely receipt of competitive costing and technical data.- Perform quantity take-offs from Electrical, ACMV, Fire Protection, and Architectural drawings.- Collate price comparisons, costing summaries, and technical proposals to facilitate accurate tender submissions.- Review addenda and corrigenda documents, ensuring the costing summary and technical proposals are updated accordingly.- Ensure all tender submission documents are prepared and finalized within strict deadlines.- Maintain comprehensive and orderly documentation for all project-related records.- Prepare professional presentation materials for tender interviews.- Perform any other ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Our client is a leading interior manufacturer and contractor specialising in solutions that combine aesthetics and functionality. They are currently seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support quantity take-offs, cost analysis, tender preparation, and contract administration for interior and building construction projects.Reporting to: Manager【 Responsibilities 】- Perform quantity take-offs, prepare cost estimates, and monitor project cost expenditure.- Prepare tender submissions, including Bills of Quantities (BOQ), and work closely with the Manager on pricing strategies.- Source and evaluate quotations from subcontractors for various trades and support contract administration activities.- Prepare monthly progress claims and cost analyses based on architectural drawings, project specifications, and required materials.- Prepare final tender submissions and follow up on tender questionnaires, clarifications, and interview requirements.- Monitor progress claims and liaise with vendors to facilitate timely submissions and resolution of cost-related matters.- Attend site meetings and coordinate with relevant stakeholders for ongoing projects.- Process variation orders (VO) and prepare final accounts.- Manage contractual matters, including extensions of time, loss and expense claims, terms and conditions, and other relevant contractual issues.- Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, and other relevant parties regarding the certification and processing of payment claims.- Collaborate with project teams to ensure client requirements are effectively delivered.【 Working Hours】Monday to Thursday: 8:30am to 6:30pmFriday: 8:30am to 5:30pm
