Our Client, a Singapore-based investment management firm specialising in Japanese equity investments, is seeking a Junior Trader / Investment Analyst to join its front-office investment team.This position combines trading execution, investment analysis, market research and quantitative problem-solving, providing an opportunity to develop hands-on exposure to Japanese equity markets and investment strategies.【Responsibilities】1) Trading & Market Execution- Support the execution of investment decisions, primarily across Japanese equity markets.- Monitor market movements, liquidity, order flow and prevailing trading conditions.- Execute and manage orders in accordance with established investment strategies and instructions.- Monitor live positions and provide timely market updates to senior investment professionals.- Coordinate with brokers and other market counterparties to support efficient trade execution.2) Investment Research & Analysis- Analyse companies, industries, market data and broader economic developments.- Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to support investment decisions.- Identify market trends, market anomalies and potential investment opportunities.- Prepare concise analysis, reports and research findings for the investment team.- Continuously develop knowledge of financial markets, investment strategies and Japanese equities.
