    Our client, a market leader in the energy industry, is seeking a Deputy General Manager (Finance) to support their continued growth and financial excellence.

    This role reports to the General Manager – Finance & Administration.

    【 Responsibilities 】

    1) Team Management
    - Lead and manage a finance team of 6–8 members, including performance evaluations, personnel development, task delegation, and progress monitoring.
    - Foster a collaborative and engaged team environment.
    - Support the recruitment and onboarding of two new team members.

    2) Cash Management, General, and Financial Accounting
    - Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance in all daily financial transactions.
    - Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, including financial reporting and statutory audits.
    - Streamline and enhance accounting processes to accommodate increasing transaction volumes.

    3) Tax Accounting
    - Manage corporate income tax and GST compliance, with a focus on the new BEPS 2.0 tax reporting requirements.
    - Review and update transfer pricing documentation in line with evolving business models.
    - Assess and apply relevant tax incentives under Singapore tax legislation.

    4) Management Accounting
    - Lead the planning and coordination of budgeting, variance analysis, and performance reporting.
    - Provide strategic financial insights to support core business activities, particularly the company’s main trading operations.
    - Prepare and present regular financial and management reports.

  • 応募条件

    【 Requirement & Preferences 】

    (Must)
    - Proficiency in English, to effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders.
    - Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance.
    - At least 3 years of experience in team management, preferably with oversight of three or more team members.
    - Strong expertise in cash management, financial reporting, taxation, and management accounting.
    - Demonstrated leadership with a proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
    - High level of professionalism, integrity, and sense of accountability.

    (Advantageous)
    - Availability to join the company at short notice.
    - Prior experience in the energy industry.
    - Familiarity with working in a Japanese business environment.
