Our client is a Japanese logistics company and is looking for a Sales Executive to join their team. As this is a Hunter role, the incumbent will be required to find new sales opportunities, acquire new customers and provide solutions to customers.
【What you will be working on】
- Responsible for securing new customers, and maintaining and developing new revenue streams from existing accounts.
- Hunting of new prospects (70% Hunting) with adequate time split on up selling to existing accounts.
- Generate and transform a minimum of those into profit-generating businesses.
- Issuance of quotations, preparing RFQ, tender Bid, reviewing rates, etc.
- Provide Weekly Sales Progress reports to Management.
- Meet and exceed set Sales Targets in terms of generating revenue and contributing gross profit for the company.
- Maintain CRM (records of customer details/sales visits/sales progress).
- Ability to identify potential customers and register opportunities to provide supply chain solutions leading to revenue for the company.
- Negotiate with the accounts as per price guidelines given, looking to maximize profit margin.
- Follow up on customer communications in a timely and professional manner.
- Work closely with Customer Service and Operations on the execution of customer's quotation.

【Skills and experiences we’re looking for】
- Diploma and above, majoring in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, or Logistics & Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
- Preferably with sales experience (2-3 years) in 3rd Party Logistics & distribution and / or Freight forwarding (Especially B2C / B2B2C / Small Parcel) and / or e-commerce Industry.
- Able to liaise with Japanese-speaking clients in Japanese.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Excellent communication skills to convey information on distribution services clearly to potential and existing customers.
- Ability to understand customers' expectations to make value propositions.英語
