  • Public Transport: Hong Kong’s Olympic medallists were given free access to public transport, along with luxury perks such as unlimited business class flights from Cathay Pacific.
  • Military Service Exemption: South Korean athletes can receive exemptions from mandatory military service for winning an Olympic medal, a highly sought-after reward.
