  • Job Description

    Our client is a Japanese logistics and engineering company providing comprehensive plant engineering, logistics, warehousing, and operational support services across various industries. They are currently seeking a Deputy Department Manager to oversee warehouse operations and lead a large-scale operations team.

    【 Responsibilities 】
    - Oversee and manage overall warehouse operations and operational issues
    - Plan warehouse space utilization and supervise customer cargo scheduling
    - Develop and manage manpower allocation plans to support operational requirements
    - Drive operational efficiency through process improvements, technology, and innovation
    - Manage departmental Profit & Loss (P&L) performance
    - Respond to customers' operational inquiries and requirements on a daily basis
    - Attend KPI review meetings and maintain strong relationships with clients
    - Develop and implement training programs for warehouse personnel
    - Lead and manage Customer Service Officers and warehouse operation teams
    - Provide onboarding and training support for new employees
    - Mentor and support junior managers within the operations department
    - Maintain a hands-on approach in managing daily warehouse activities
    - Perform any other duties assigned by management

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    【Requirement & Preferences 】

    (Must)
    - Minimum 8 years of experience in 3PL (Third-Party Logistics) operations
    - Proven experience in warehouse operations management and space utilization planning
    - Strong expertise in warehouse operational planning and execution
    - Extensive experience in manpower allocation planning and employee training
    - Proven track record in cost control, operational improvement, and P&L management
    - Experience conducting risk assessments and implementing mitigation measures
    - Experience leading managers and supervisory-level staff
    - Experience managing large-scale operations with approximately 50–100 employees
    - Knowledge of TAPA, GMP, GDP, Halal, and other logistics-related certifications

    (Advantageous)
    - Experience working in a multinational or regional logistics environment
    - Experience in warehouse automation, WMS implementation, robotics, or digital transformation projects
