  • Job Description

    Our client is seeking a Desktop Support Engineer to join their 24×7 support operations team, providing technical support for Microsoft 365 (M365) environments in both Japanese and English.

    The role focuses on troubleshooting, user support, and operational maintenance of M365 services. Candidates with hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 administration, including PowerShell scripting and operational support, are highly preferred.

    Reporting to: Manager

    【 Responsibilities 】
    - Provide end-user support for Microsoft 365 in both Japanese and English
    - Handle incidents and service requests, perform initial troubleshooting, and escalate issues when necessary
    - Manage user accounts, permissions, and configuration changes
    - Perform Microsoft 365 operational tasks using PowerShell, including administration, verification, and routine task automation
    - Create and manage tickets, and document troubleshooting steps and resolutions using ITSM tools
    - Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues and follow up as required
    - Maintain knowledge articles, SOPs, and FAQs

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    【Requirement & Preferences 】

    (Must)
    - Diploma in Information Technology or a related field
    - Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience supporting Microsoft 365 environments, including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and Entra ID (Azure AD), with a solid understanding of M365 fundamentals and operations
    - Proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N3 or above) and English for effective communication with clients
    - Experience in IT Helpdesk or Service Desk support
    - Experience using ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, Zendesk, Dynamics 365, or similar
    - Experience supporting global users or working in multi-language environments
