• Job Description

  Our Client is a Japanese mechanical and electrical engineering company. They are looking for a Project Manager for their M&E engineering projects.
  
  【 What you will be doing 】
  - Be in charge and fully responsible for projects assigned to him.
  - Requisition of resources for the project such as labour, materials, equipment and others.
  - Minimise / reduce wastage of materials, equipment, and resources.
  - Monitor and evaluate the performance of sub-contractors.
  - Perform project management organisation to ensure that the project progresses according to schedule and take the appropriate corrective action when deviations arise.
  - Liaise with customers, consultants, clerks-of-work and statutory authorities on matters concerning the progress of work, acceptance of work, and approval of plans, when problems arise.
  - Prepare and submit progress claims and ensure positive cash flow.
  - Ensure proper hand of the project to the customer upon project completion.
  - Responsive to follow-up defect complaints during DLP.
  - Assist in administrating contracts, claims, disputes, variations and final accounts.
  - Provide cash flow projection and ensure projects are self-sustaining.
  - Monitoring of project cash flow and disbursement within the project budget.
  - Improvement of project profit margin.
  - Monitoring/ following up with the VO items and cost. (Negotiation with Main Con, Consultants, Owner & Sub-Con)
  - Review and verify monthly invoices from the Subcontractor/Vendor.
  - Monitor accounts receivable for the projects.
  - Provide on-the-job training to new project staff.
  - Responsible for and assigned Project Engineer / Supervisor / Safety coordinator for individual projects.
  - Conduct monthly project meetings as and when required.
  - Assign and supervise subcontractors' work.
