  Our client is a Japanese manufacturing company. They are looking for an ESH Engineer.
  
  【 What you will be doing 】
  Month-end, quarterly and year-end closing functions:
  - Request Quotation
  - Check Product Specifications meet Operational Needs
  - Request service/delivery schedule
  - Liaise with suppliers for solutions to issues faced.
  - Communication with the process owner for feedback
  
  Data Collection for ESH-Related Activities:
  - Communication with process owners for data collection related to ESH
  - Data analysis and interpretation
  - Collect feedback from stakeholders
  - Work with stakeholders for improvement to identify issues
  
  Promotion of In-house Safety Culture and Awareness:
  - Routine Inspection of Workplace
  - Education and awareness training
  - Involvement in Risk assessment, HAZOP, EAI, and PPE assessment review
  - Conduct ESH-Related Programmes to promote safety culture
  - Communication to all staff on ESH-Related cases for awareness and case-study learning
  - Conduct a safety induction course for new staff
  - Conduct PSSR (QESH inspection) for new equipment and process
  - Assist in Monthly ESH Team Meetings
  - Promote workplace Improvement suggestions by stakeholders
  
  Compliance with Legal and Other Requirements:
  - Arrangement for 3rd party testing (Industrial Hygiene Monitoring, Stack Emission Monitoring, etc)
  - Internal ESH Awareness Training
  - Arrangement for 3rd party Training (Forklift Refresher, Respirator Fit Testing, CERT, Confined Space, First Aider, etc)
  - Provide advice and improve Legal Compliance awareness for related stakeholders
  - Assist in SHMS audit (document preparation, verification, etc)
  - Assist in Legal Register documentation
  - Communication of changes to Legal Requirements and recommend follow-up actions required
  - Assist in document submission to the Authority
  
  Contractor Management:
  - Review documents submitted by Contractors and Vendors
  - Conduct Safety Induction Course for Contractors and Vendors
  - On-site Assessment of work done by contractor and vendor
  - Ensure PTW compliance
  - Management of Contractor and their activity to ensure safe work practices and a safe working environment
  - Communication with Stakeholders for proper planning to assign laydown areas and resting areas for contractors
  - Ensure 5S on Workplace Monitoring
  
  Process Safety Improvement:
  - Understanding of Process Outline and Process Flow
  - Identify areas with pain points
  - Communication with Process Owners on areas for improvement
  - Understanding the workings of new Technology and how it can be applied to the currently existing process
  - Design Review with stakeholders for Management of Change (PCA)
  - Review of Standard Operation Procedures with Process Owners to integrate Safe Work Practices as well as implementation of Lock Out Tag Out and Safe Shutdown Procedures
  
  Emergency Response:
  - Assist SIC, SMC, FSM for On-site Emergency Preparedness activity
  - Coordinate with General Admin section and Guardhouse Security to ensure site security
  - Communicate with relevant Authority for emergency & security-related issues
  - Verified Functionality and Availability of on-site emergency equipment and tools
  - Assist in Emergency Response Plan revision if necessary
