  Our client is an IT service provider that provides global IT support for their clients. Currently, they are expanding their professional tech team, looking for a Data Centre Technician to join the team.
  
  【 What you will be doing 】
  Hardware Support Services:
  - Installation, relocation, and configuration of IT equipment.
  - Addressing hardware additions, moves, and changes.
  
  Decommissioning IT Equipment:
  - Managing the decommissioning process for servers, networks, storage, and backup devices.
  
  Media Management:
  - Handling destruction and disposal of HDDs and SSDs securely.
  
  Hardware Break-Fix Support:
  - Diagnosing and fixing hardware issues, including parts replacement and module reseating.
  
  Equipment Inspection:
  - Conduct regular physical and visual inspections of data centre equipment and facilities.
  
  Onsite Support:
  - Provide support during scheduled power down/up events and other critical situations.
  
  Troubleshooting:
  - Identifying and resolving problems related to IT and network equipment.
  
  Inventory Management:
  - Maintaining accurate records of inventory and performing regular cycle counts.
  
  Capacity and Resource Management:
  - Managing rack space, power, cooling, and patch panel port availability.
  - Allocating resources for new installations or relocations.
  
  Reporting and Documentation:
  - Updating documentation for new structured cabling and materials.
  - Generating regular reports on progress, maintenance, and improvements.
  - Managing incident and change processes, access requests, and vendor coordination.
