Our client is a financial company, currently hiring an Operations Officer - Middle & Back Office (Japanese Speaking). This role is responsible for supporting the fund business by ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing valuable insights to stakeholders.You will be reporting to the Managing Director.【 What you will be doing 】- Transaction Processing: Execute and oversee the processing of financial transactions related to fund activities, including trade settlements, corporate actions, and cash management.- Reconciliation: Conduct daily reconciliation of fund positions, cash balances, and transactions to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies promptly.- Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on regulatory requirements applicable to the fund industry and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including reporting obligations.- Performance Measurement: Assist in analyzing and monitoring operational and risk metrics and preparing reports for internal and external stakeholders, providing insights into investment strategies and portfolio management.- Risk Management: Identify and assess operational risks associated with fund activities and implement controls to mitigate risks effectively, ensuring the integrity of fund operations.- Client Servicing: Primary point of contact for Level 1 support to address inquiries and provide support to resolve client issues related to fund transactions and reporting.- Process Improvement: Continuously review and enhance operational processes and procedures to streamline workflow, increase efficiency, and reduce operational risks.- Ad hoc paperwork: Check the accuracy of invoices and set up for timely payment
