• Job Description

  Our client is a manufacturing company specializing in tire production. They are currently seeking a Shipping & Logistics Assistant to coordinate and support end-to-end shipping and logistics operations, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  
  This position reports directly to the Logistics Manager.
  
  【 Responsibilities 】
  
  1) Main Responsibilities:
  - Arrange shipment arrival schedule with customer
  - Arrange shipping instructions to suppliers, shipping company and packaging company for cargo shipment
  - Monitoring over pending shipment status
  - Receipt check for shipping documents/input into system
  - Pricing sales price and concluding sales contract with internal customers
  - Issue invoices from the ERP system
  - Verify invoice payment to suppliers, shipping companies, etc.
  - Gathering information on ocean freight situation
  - Updating cargo status
  - Management inventory level to keep standard level
  - Recognizing item fulfilment and sales
  - Planning on the most cost efficient delivery route
  - Able to make analysis of shipment trends and forecasts
  - Coordinate with Purchasing Manager on finalizing price calculations
  
  2) Essential Duties:
  - Delivery arrangements
  - Inventory Management and Monitoring
  - Delivery cost reduction
  - Communicate regularly and effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  
  3) Others/Ad-hoc:
  - Arrange logistics in timely manner, and respond to manager about logistics issues without delays
  - Work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and display exemplary conduct
  - Coordinate with suppliers closely to prevent delays
