  • Job Description

    Our Client is a Local Company that focuses on the wholesale distribution of chemicals and allied products, currently seeking to hire an Operations Executive.

    【 What you will be doing 】
    - Issue sales & purchase contracts after trades are done
    - Strong communication and coordination with traders in case of any discrepancies, missing information or inappropriate terms
    - Vetting of master letter of credit (LC) to ensure all terms are in order before pushing customers to open LC
    - Arrange for LC opening in time before shipment
    - Prepare custom documents required for custom clearance
    - Prepare and present documents under sales LC
    - Preparation of document instructions for brokers, owners or suppliers.
    - Provide timely updates for vessel movement to suppliers and buyers
    - Calculation and submit claims for any demurrage incurred
    - Tracking of payment and settlement
    - Maintain proper filing for each shipment

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    【 What they are looking for 】
    (Must)
    - Minimum Diploma in Maritime Business, International Trading or equivalent
    - 1 - 2 years of relevant experience but inexperienced candidates are welcome to apply
    - Proficient in English and Mandarin Listening/Writing/Speaking is essential to liaise with Mandarin-speaking counterparts
    - Able to work in a fast-paced environment
    - Willing to work on certain weekends when necessary
