    Our Client is a Japanese integrated engineering company, currently looking to fill the role of a Deputy Site Service Manager (Japanese Speaking).

    You will manage 4 to 5 members and report to the Japanese Engineering Manager.

    Division: IPB (Industrial Product Business Unit)
    Shifts: Rotating shift, 24 hours 7 days on-call on duty
    Location: National Cancer Centre Singapore

    【 What you will be doing 】
    - Lead and direct SMO and its activities
    - Plan and supervise SMO’s activities to ensure daily operation and appropriate maintenance service
    - Select and coordinate subcontractor activities including procurement and outsourcing services
    - Manage and monitor both technical and administrative records and documents
    - Respond to calls for service support and emergencies 24/7
    - Communicate and collaborate with the customer, relevant departments and vendors
    - Perform test, inspection, adjustment and troubleshooting of PBT equipment
    - Comply with all regulatory standards and requirements such as applicable laws, radiation safety regulations, and internal policies of both the company and National Cancer Centre Singapore.
    - Adopt new technology, products, and processes in daily operations
    - Develop a complete working knowledge of the PBT system
    ※While doing maintenance work together, you will guide the team in learning.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    【 What they are looking for 】
    (Must)
    - 5+ years of experience as a Site Manager including Management of the team and its activities, Maintenance or QA/QC of industrial plants, medical devices, or nuclear power equipment
    - Fluent in English and Japanese (JLPT N1) to communicate with the system specialist located in Japan
    - Be familiar with Proton Beam Therapy System: PBT

    (Other Knowledge, Flexibility, and skills required as an Engineer)
    - Able to do shift work and on-call duty
    - Able to work at 10+ meters height and lift to 20kg repeatedly and safely.
    - Familiarity with working in areas of high-voltage, radiation, and electromagnetic
    - Proficient level of using electronic test and measurement instruments (DVM, oscilloscope, micrometers, etc.)
