  Our Client is Chemical Manufacture, now they are looking for Buyer. The Buyer (Technical & MRO) main responsibility is to support on Technical Procurement Operations to source, plan and negotiate on all Maintenance Related Purchases and ensure timely delivery of “non-BOM Materials” to the Maintenance Department. This role is also responsible for the execution and support on various Projects within both the Purchasing and Maintenance Department. You will be reporting to the Purchasing Manager.
  
  【What will you be working on】
  ■MRO Procurement and Strategy Planning
  - To execute and support Maintenance Department purchasing activities in accordance to Company Legal Obligations, Purchasing Policies, System and Strategies
  - Assist in sourcing and negotiations of MROs
  - Support in Procurement activities/ additional duties in areas related to Legal, Quality, Safety, Environment and Health Management System (SS506 part 3, ISO 9001, ISO14001, OSHAS18001 etc)
  
  ■Supplier KPIs and Relationship Management
  - Support supplier evaluation and selection process, qualification of alternative sources.
  - Assist in activities and documentation requirements to manage and analyze Supplier’s Performance
  - Act as Liaison for resolving supplier/product related issues on assigned materials/services.
  Support / Execute MRO Procurement Infrastructure Improvement Projects related to MEX /CMMS (Computerized Inventory Management System)
  - Collecting, Updating, Compiling, Analyzing and Filing of Maintenance Purchasing Related Data and Maintenance User Requirements
  - Support and Execute 1a. Project to Cost Save for Common Tooling, Parts and miscellaneous Items Purchases; 1b. Project to centralize Common Tooling, Parts and Miscellanous Items Purchases
  - Support and Execute 2. Project to Synchronize Maintenance Inventory Management System within MEX
  - Support and Execute 3. Project to create a Catalogue List within the MEX system. Manual jobs of data input may be required.
  - Support and Execute Project on 4. Automation of Procurement items related to TBM (Time Based Maintenance)
  - Support on activities to fine tune existing Procurement and Inventory Infrastructure.
  Fine Tune of Existing Technical and MRO Procurement Infrastructure; Develop New Procurement Infrastructure if needed.
  
  ■MRO Procurement Operations
  - To issue and administer Purchase Orders using MEX or SAP system/Manual PO system and whichever IT system in use.
  - Invoices and Documentation Matching and Verifications.
  - To support additional job/requirement, within an executive capability level, as and when required/delegated by Purchasing Manager.
