  • Job Description

    Our client is Asia's leading retail store that focuses on health products. They are currently looking for Assistant Space Development Manager to join their team urgently!
    You will expected to optimize store space productivity/margin and deliver the company’s financial targets in line with corporate vision and mission.

    【 What you will be doing 】
    1. Assist in management of “Regular” shelves
    - Developing a placement strategy – facilitates Buyer’s understanding of rationales behind specific tactics and form the framework which space planning team develop planograms.
    - Ensure that the overall allocation of regular shelves to each category are managed well.
    - Managing schedule, process & timeline of planogram change and ensure seamless implementation

    2. Assist in management of “Promotional” space
    - Ensure strong promotions are highly visible to shoppers with displays must be “logical” to shoppers to give shoppers a pleasant shopping experience.

    3. Conduct Category Trends and new brand inject to business.
    - Keep abreast of category trends and work with Merchandising to capitalize on relevant business opportunities
    - Responsible for space support in regard to brands injections; acts with a strong sense of urgency to anticipate customer’s needs
    - Work closely with Trading and suppliers on the design of fixtures.
    Accountable for adherence to brand release timelines

    4. Review and planning Store’s performance for new & refit stores
    - Recommendation of action plan to maximize Category & Brand’s performance
    - Effective optimize macro space planning through customer centric approach and maximize sales & space productivity.

    5. Perform any other duties as assigned by Management

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    【 What they are looking for 】
    - Degree/Diploma in Business Admin, Retail Management or similar
    - At least 2-3 years of experience in a similar capacity, attained in a dynamic and fast-paced service environment; FMCG experience preferred.
    - Knowledge of market trends, consumer needs & behaviour (nielson)
    - Knowledge of competitors (e.g, promotion, pricing)
    - A confident self-starter with a high level of drive, energy, integrity and professionalism
    - Self-motivated, committed, determined, diligent and trustworthy
    - Results-oriented, resourceful, resilient and proactive
    - Proficient in MS Office and Excel is a must!
    - Proficient in “Spaceman Professional”
