They are looking for a Shift Technician in the Chemical/Petrochemical industries.【 Responsibilities 】Shift Technician:- Operate the process to meet the conditions specified in manuals/instructions- Operate the process equipment at the site according to the operation plan- Take measures to improve production status and equipment performance on productivity and quality after approval of shift senior technician- Patrol plant process, confirm the process and equipment condition, and report disordered matter to senior shift technicians- Prepare and organise patrol records- Take a sampling for analysis of products and process evaluation- Report all incidents, near misses, and deviations from plans and participate in further investigation when required- Assist in coordinating daily maintenance planning and participate in maintenance activities and section shutdown/start-up- Provide support for the maintenance group /quality control group, if any problem arises- Work as shift Analyst, when designed by supervisors- Perform the role of an auxiliary firefighter when requiredSenior Shift Technician:- Operate and monitor the chemical plant's DCS (Distributed Control System) with strong knowledge of process parameters, ensuring safe and efficient plant start-up, steady-state operation, and shutdown.- Apply in-depth chemical plant operation expertise to strictly follow documented procedures, including Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), EHS regulations, and risk assessment guidelines.- Continuously monitor DCS alarms, analyze process deviations, and take corrective action in accordance with established adjustment procedures.- Provide clear instructions and coordination to shift technicians in the field, ensuring effective communication and alignment between DCS operations and field activities to prevent misoperations.- Demonstrate strong ownership, teamwork, accountability, and integrity while contributing to a safe and collaborative work environment.Working hours:8.30am to 8.30pm (morning shift)8.30pm to 8.30am (night shift) You will be working on a 2,2,3 rotating shift pattern which includes weekends and PH. Total number of working days a month is about 14.
