    Our client is a Japanese multi-disciplinary interior design firm with businesses throughout Asia, Europe, and the United States. The Sales Division Manager is in charge of selling design and establishing connections with clients to establish and maintain rapport with clients. You will be handling a team of 5.

    You will be reporting to the Sales Manager/Managing Director

    【Responsibilities】
    - Leadership: Provide visionary leadership to the sales team, setting the target direction, and inspiring the team to achieve their target.
    - Business Strategy: Develop and implement strategies that align with the organisation's goals, brand identity, and market positioning.
    - Business Development: Plan and execute business development strategy to grow the business.
    - Business Management: Collaborate closely with the design team to develop winning designs and ensure alignment with client’s briefs, budgets, and timelines. Allocate and manage resources, including designers, contractors, and logistics, to meet project demands.
    - Trend Awareness: Stay updated on design trends, competitors, and industry best practices to incorporate innovative sales solutions.
    - Budget Oversight: Maintain a sustainable Project Cost Plan to ensure a target profit margin for the company.
    - Design Presentations: Present design concepts and strategies to clients, executives, or stakeholders, effectively communicating the vision and rationale behind design decisions.
    - Client Management: Managing sales team to have proper client management and follow-up.
    - Team Supervision and Development: Guide, supervise and coordinate the sales team and assigned team members to ensure timely and objective-aligned project delivery. Provide support and direction.
    - Stakeholder Liaison: Lead key communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal team members. Chair and attend necessary meetings to maintain sales alignment and resolve issues. Assign and delegate work with proper communication.
    - Project Administration: Supervise the team on cost proposals, contracts, and project payments. Keep the project within budget and on schedule.

    Additional Responsibilities: Take on additional management support tasks as necessary, drive collaboration between sales and design teams, and perform other sales and marketing duties to support continuous improvement and business success.

Qualifications

  • Requirement

    【What they are looking for 】
    (Must)
    - Degree holders
    - At least 7 years of sales experience in the commercial furniture and interior industry
    - At least 3 years experience in a managerial role, with the ability to lead, plan, and bring success to the team
    - Sales-driven, aggressive, creative, team player, analytical skills, and detail-oriented
    - Proven track record of successful sales and strategic thinking
    - Possess good interpersonal and communication skills in both English and Mandarin to liaise with English and Mandarin-speaking counterparts
    - Excellent presenter, ability to translate design intent to meet clients' needs.

    (Preferred)
    - Bachelor's Degree in Architecture / Design / Business Management / Sales and Marketing
    - Able to join ASAP or within 1 month's notice
    - Familiarity with Japanese company/culture
    - Having a car license will be advantageous
