The Role: We are seeking a Relationship Manager within our Global Accounts Team, to nurture and grow existing strategic accounts within Asia Pacific. The Global Accounts Team manages our company’s commercial relationships with our tier-1 clients. This includes all the main investment banks, alternative Investment fund managers, law firms, auditors, placement agents and primary third party firms that service the alternative asset industry.
The Impact: The individual will be based in our Singapore office and will be part of a team responsible for strategic planning within their set territories and will support the business development managers to drive sales and open new avenues of growth.
The duties and responsibilities of a successful RM are to drive sales and open new avenues of growth, meet or exceed monthly/Quarterly KPI’s and goals in addition to the activities outlined below:
・Extensive customer-facing activity, ongoing development of existing accounts and driving sales. In depth understanding of the customers’ business, identify their needs and work with the BDM’s to provide a solution that will add value to their business. Attending conferences when required which will assist in strengthening the company brand.
・Proactive outreaches via phone, email and web ex, support BDM’s to manage renewals face-to-face and strengthen relationships with existing accounts. Service customers and prospects by engaging in product demonstration and provide sample products. Prospecting new business and managing incoming leads for BDM’s to pursue.
・Reporting and internal administration to include: CRM activity log, monthly reports to managers, order administration, creating renewal analysis and helping BDM’s prepare proposals.
Other Required Accountabilities:
・Gather strong working knowledge of competitive intelligence.
・Develop sufficient company product, technical and alternative investment market knowledge.
・Develop and deliver to manager’s quarterly territory strategy plans.
・Collaborate with colleagues and internal departments to achieve goals.
・Must have min 1 year of B2B Sales Experience.
・Must be able to speak JLPT N1 level Japanese to liaise with native Japanese clients
・Must be able to use Business level English.
・Organized and efficient with time management.
・The candidate should have excellent communication both verbal and in writing.
・Proven experience in conducting face-to-face presentations.
・Demonstrate the ability to build relationships with end user and decision makers.
・Strategic mind set and long-term thinking.
・Highly proficient in MS Office and using CRM systems.
・Working knowledge of the data vending industry preferred.
