  • Job Description

    Our client, an established global trading firm, is seeking qualified applicants for a Deputy General Manager - Logistics M&A.

    【 What you will be doing 】
    - Management of companies invested by the client as well as involvement in managing the strategic operations of the company (monitoring of financial statement / KPI, reporting how to improve the business, supporting the management to strengthen corporate governance etc).
    - Have a strong drive to collaborate with customers, suppliers, subsidiaries, as well as relevant local government departments
    - Establish Group synergy across regions (explore the opportunity for collaboration, matching the service etc)
    - Assist the General Manager in specific operations, business development and team building; team management includes personnel training, system construction, etc., to ensure sustainable development and team skill-up (such as training team members in their M&A skills through actual projects / on/off job training)
    - Develop new customers and manage existing customers, focusing on logistics (local logistic specialist)
    - Experience and knowledge in the Asia context. (Preferred experience with Vietnam, Indonesia, India, Philippines, Singapore etc…)
    - Logistic-related experiences such as warehouse operations, handling consumer products, management and responsibility of accounts, and business development.
    - Track and analyze market trends based on industry information to meet market needs.
    - Develop and adjust branch operation strategy according to market change; Complete the scale, revenue, profit and other indicators issued by the headquarters.
    - Other ad-hoc projects and responsibilities.


  • Requirement

    【 What they are looking for 】
    - Min Degree holder
    - Min 10 years of relevant experience in handling M&A (as investor and/or advisor), and management of invested company as shareholder/fund manager
    - Prior experience managing logistics projects/businesses
    - Experience as an M&A project manager 
    - Able to travel frequently (1-3 times per month)
    - Prior experience in consumer-related business (e.g., E-commerce, retailer) is preferred!
