  • Job Description

    Our client is a Japanese medical & manufacturing company that provides sales and marketing services, application development, technical support, and research and development facilities with many branches globally. The Technical Sales Specialist is responsible for developing new business and increasing sales volumes from existing customers and potential customers. Reporting to Sales Manager

    【 What you will be doing 】
    - Co-ordinate and manage sales activities such as sourcing, cold-calling, meeting, presentation and tender-bidding.
    - Demonstrate product or equipment capability to customers.
    - Provide technical advice and support to customers in quality assurance.
    - Follow up with customers on evaluation and technical procurement specification review.
    - Attend to customers' queries and provide appropriate solutions.
    - Determine client's needs, formulate appropriate specifications for complex technical systems and ensure pricing meets both the company profit margin and the client’s budget.
    - Co-ordinate with internal teams for pricing, scheduling, performance and technical requirements
    - Co-ordinate delivery and installation process
    - Any other tasks assigned by Management from time to time.


  • Requirement

    【 What they are looking for 】
    - Degree in Chemistry or related technical discipline
    - At least 2 years experience of successfully selling analytical instruments in the Singapore market and/or experience managing customers from the food, flavours & fragrances and chemicals industry
    - Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to effectively communicate with laboratory managers, professors, PhD-level scientists and technicians.
    - Experience working with any established CRM systems will be an advantage.
    - Occasional travel should be expected for training and business meetings
