  • Job Description

    Our client is a major player in the home appliance and electronics industry. They are looking for an HR Manager. The incumbent will be responsible to plan, organise, directing and control the operations in the HR (HR/Legal/Compliance related) so as to achieve the objectives and implement and review HR policies and programs pertaining to the company's function. The incumbent will be reporting to the Head of department.

    【 What you will be doing 】
    1. HR Matters: (80%)
    - Overseeing the HR functions, monitoring of all policies, processes, systems and other initiatives is aligned with business objectives, statutory requirements, and HQ's policy.
    - Drive organizational development initiatives to enhance performance, employee engagement, Culture transformation and succession planning.
    - Provide consultant to management on HR-related issues including formulating partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management
    - Recruitment end to end process including work force management with budget control, labour relations, build strong relationship with candidate and provide excellent communication.
    - Managing and being responsible for employee compensation and benefits, as well as analyzing and executing tasks related to company's compensation and benefits policies to align with the company's policies.
    - Drive & build strong knowledge in Learning and Development system, Training Roadmap, Competency, KPI, Career Planning, Compensation & benefit, reports analytics, etc.
    - Oversee and manage a performance management system that aligns with the company strategies and HQ policies
    - Onboard new employees with HR policy guidance.
    - Maintain a thorough understanding and knowledge of legal requirements to ensure regulatory compliance and reduce legal risks.

    2. Legal & Compliance Requirement: (10%)
    - Coordinate with Company Secretary (TMF) & HQ-Legal requirement
    - Ensure that the legal and compliance requirements of the company are met and furnishes statements on these subjects as required.
    - Lead the Risk Management Compliance committee in the company
    - Coordinate, and safe-keep all business agreements, contracts, maintenance agreements, and insurance policies in the centralized file. Control log-book and all original contracts in the company safe
    - Consult legal advice for the company with HQ-Legal Compliance Dept

    3. Other Roles: (10%)
    - Approver in staff reimbursement system in Admin (for exceeding S$50) / HR related
    - Participant in the HQ-HR's monthly Council Meeting to update & implement HQ-HR's new rules & policies
    - Any other duties which may be assigned by the superior from time to time


  • Requirement

    【 What they are looking for 】
    - Possess Bachelor Degree in HR and business admin or related fields
    - Minimum 7 years of experience in HR business partnering, HR generalist or HR management in relevant industry, preferably with managerial experience
    - Excellent consulting expertise and excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels
    - Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations. Knowledge of the Companies Act is an added advantage
    - Proficiency in MS Office & HR software applications. Knowledge of SAP-HCM is required
    - Possess service orientation, independence, confidentiality, flexibility, organizational talent, and problem-solving skills
