  • Job Description

    Our Client is Japanese Listed real estate Company. The role of an Accounting Assistant Manager / Manager is to be responsible for Group consolidation based on IFRS.

    【 What you will be doing 】
    - Ensure timely submission of consolidated accounts to Japan HQ and promptly attend to their queries (if any)
    - Provide variance analysis of quarterly results versus budget/last year
    - Preparation of annual consolidated budget
    - External/Internal audit of group consolidation accounts *Currently, outsourced to 3rd party accounting firm. To consider the internalization of consolidation work.
    - To support the Accounting Manager in daily accounting operations

    - To make long-term/short-term competitive corporate financing plans according to the financing needs
    - To build good working relationships with bankers and to negotiate for favourable interest/FX rates
    - Preparation of cashflow forecast to ensure the adequacy of working capital
    - To ensure prompt loan/interest settlement for existing bank loans
    - To support Business divisions in arranging funds for new/existing projects
    - Seek internal/board approvals for all finance-related matters as required (e.g., setting up new banking facilities and bank accounts)
    - Preparation of finance-related reports to HQ (as required)

    - To provide accounting and finance support to Business Divisions
    - To evaluate and propose improvements to existing processes for better internal controls and operational efficiency
    - Other ad-hoc tasks assigned

  • Requirement

    【 What they are looking for 】
    - Local University graduate with Accounting or Finance
    - Minimum 5 years (Asst. Manager), 7 years (Manager) of experience in a similar capacity
    - Knowledge of accounting systems is preferred, but not compulsory (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite etc.)
    - Good fundamentals of Accounting and Finance knowledge
    - Team player and able to work independently without close supervision
    - Good communication and interpersonal skills
    - Good initiatives and willingness to be hands-on
    - Meticulous, with good problem-solving and analytical skills

    9:00 ~ 17:30
