  • Job Description

    Our client is a Japanese manufacturer of electronic products, and they are looking for a Sales Engineer (VSD) who will be responsible for the development of consultant relationships in the assigned areas and the accounts.

    【 What you will be doing 】
    - Establish new customer relationships and expand existing customer base to drive and achieve sales targets of Drive & Automation products in the assigned market segment
    - Responsible for the development of consultant relationship in the assigned areas and the accounts
    - Develop sales strategies and implement sales plans to achieve sales targets and profit margins
    - Provide technical recommendation and create technical proposal; follow up with consultants on the business opportunities
    - Secure new customers, maintain and develop new revenue streams from existing accounts
    - Prepare tender bid, issue quotations, follow up tender awards with contractors and monitor closely till sales closure
    - Work with customer service and operations to ensure delivery following datelines and customer satisfactions are met
    - Gather market information on customer’s activities; develop sales plan & submit pipeline forecast, sales progress and consultants visit report plans to Sales Manager
    - Provide technical training support and participate in marketing activities like seminar and exhibitions
    - Must be ready to travel overseas on business needs

  • Requirement

    【 What they are looking for 】
    - Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline
    - At least 5 years of related sales experience in the same industry with which minimum of 3 years in handling Low Voltage VSD (LV VSD)
    - Possess prior experience working with consultants/contractors/developers to actively interact and engage with them to understand their needs, and translate the requirements into suitable solutions during the project tender stage
    - Proven sales record of accomplishment in VSD in the HVAC/Water industry
    - Good project management skills are a plus!
    - Willing to travel as per business requirement

    8:45 ~ 17:30
